On August 11, 2023, the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong’s Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institution of Dining Art Foundation (IDAF). The Food and Beverage Young Entrepreneur Programme aims to help aspiring entrepreneurs in the food and beverage industry turn their start-up dreams into reality. This program not only nurtures and supports young entrepreneurs but also enriches their experiences.

The MoU signing was a momentous occasion, signed by Dr. Thomas Wing-yan MAN, Director of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship & Associate Dean (Enterprise and Business Engagement) of School of Business, and Mr. Maurice Chi-hang KONG, Chairman of the Institution of Dining Art Foundation (IDAF). The ceremony was witnessed by Prof. Simon Shun-man HO, president of HSUHK and Mr. Gilbert Sik-keung MO, BBS, IDAF Honorary Legal Advisor. We were also honored to have the presence of Mr Kenneth Yuk-wai LEUNG, JP, Legislative Council Member, who provided valuable support and encouragement.

Moving forward, both parties are committed to promoting food culture, creating business opportunities, and supporting youth entrepreneurship in the food and beverage industry.

香港恒生大學創新及創業中心與稻苗基金會於8月11日簽訂合作備忘錄，透過「餐飲業青年創業家計劃」，旨在為有意投身於在餐飲業界的青年帶來與眾不同的創業機遇，同時豐富香港的餐飲文化和推動行業的發展。

合作備忘錄由恒生大學創新及創業中心主管暨商學院副院長（企業及商界聯繫）萬頴恩博士與稻苗飲食專業學會主席江志恒先生簽署，恒生大學校長何順文教授聯同稻苗基金會義務法律顧問毛錫強律師見證；立法會議員梁毓偉議員的蒞臨亦為活動提供了寶貴的支持和鼓勵。

未來雙方將攜手合作，為香港的餐飲業注入更多活力，並培育更多具有創新意念的青年人才。
