My entrepreneurial journey started because I didn’t want an ordinary life. In 2023, I listened to Lei Jun’s speech. He said, “People are driven by dreams and grow by sticking to them.” That idea lit a fire in me—I wanted to do something great, to challenge the norm, and become the best version of myself.
However, the road to becoming a disruptor is fraught with thorns, the jump from student to founder was tougher than I ever imagined. Suddenly, there were no teachers, no syllabi—just me and an idea that everyone else thought was unrealistic. I felt completely alone. But I knew I had to become the kind of leader who could both inspire my team and protect them from doubt. That’s why I always tell myself and my team: “The Giants invest and operate with money, while we invest time, which is our lives. Never go against a team that has staked its life on this.” That’s why we were able to succeed. This year, we reached some exciting milestones. In January, we made HKD 10,000 in sales in just 48 minutes. By May, we hit 80,000 orders. From June to August, we won several awards and grants, including support from Hang Seng University of Hong Kong. Later, we provided services for big events like the National Games of China and the Wan Chai Convention Centre.
I’m happy to share that on November 19th, we passed our sales goal early, with revenue over HKD 6 Million. We also expect to grow more than 140% by 2025.
Being an entrepreneur can be lonely. When you have a new idea, you are often one of the few who believes in it. That’s why you need to stay strong and independent. “Independence is the last line of defense; Values sustain everything.”
Throughout the process, we are deeply grateful to our mentor, Professor Alan Chu, for providing us with more mature development directions and application space from a practical perspective. We also thank the judges and Hang Seng University faculty for their valuable advice, and all the staff for organizing an
unimaginable competition. This also gave us the opportunity to be seen by investment institutions and potential partners. Following this competition, we successfully established a strategic partnership with No. 7 Harbor Group, to collaborate on our businesses in GBA and Hong Kong.
In the entrepreneurial process, any stage to showcase oneself is a rare and precious opportunity. Without any actual effort, one has the chance to bring their ideas to fruition. The important thing is not what one actually gains, but at least to be seen. This is an opportunity and attempt that transcends all personal gain.
We are still on this journey. To all entrepreneurs—keep going, keep fighting.
