Highlights from 28 Jan 2024:

We had an incredible time at the Hong Kong Techathon+ 2024, organized by HKSTP from 26 to 28 Jan 2024!

This event was co-organised by HKSTP and 10 prestigious universities, including CityU, HKBU, HKMU, LingnanU, CUHK, EdUHK, HSUHK, PolyU, HKUST, and HKU.

The Techathon+ featured four exciting themes that encompassed cutting-edge technologies and innovation:

1️⃣ Trusted AI & Data Science (AI, Blockchain)
2️⃣ Sustainability & ESG (GreenTech, HealthTech, Advanced Materials)
3️⃣ Digital Economy (ArtTech, EduTech, FinTech)
4️⃣ Smart Cities (Electronics, Advanced Manufacturing, Autonomous Robotics/Systems)

We are thrilled to announce that HSUHK had an outstanding winning team – Ricefort!
Ricefort is a remarkable alumni team that showcased their talent and innovation throughout the event. They received a well-deserved merit in the local open group competition under the Sustainability & ESG theme, highlighting their commitment to creating a sustainable future. Congratulations to Ricefort for their remarkable achievement!

Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) is now calling all tech enthusiasts and innovators in HSUHK to join Hong Kong Techathon+ 2024!

The event is co-organised by HKSTP in partnership with local universities. Students and alumni from the 10 co-organising universities (CityU, HKBU, HKMU, LingnanU, CUHK, EdUHK, HSUHK, PolyU, HKUST and HKU) with technology-related business ideas are all welcome to participate in this exhilarating competition. You are most encouraged to join this challenge to unleash your potential and compete for the awards offered by HKSTP and the universities!

*The team leader of the E-Challenge MUST be a HSUHK student.
