On 20 October 2026 (Tuesday), the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation hosted the HKSTP and Universities Networking Reception 2026 at the Global Acceleration Academy, InnoCentre. The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) of HSUHK was invited to join the event. Professor Jeanne Fu, Vice President (Learning and Student Experience) and Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, attended with CIE colleagues to connect with representatives from various universities and leaders in the innovation and technology sector.
The reception opened with welcome remarks by Mr Terry Wong, Chief Executive Officer of HKSTP. Following this, his team shared the latest developments and future plans, with a focus on university collaborations and talent development initiatives.
During the open discussion and networking session, Professor Fu and the CIE team engaged in meaningful conversations with HKSTP management and peers from other institutions. They explored ways to further facilitate the commercialisation of university research and to open more resources and opportunities for students and startup teams.
The reception not only strengthened the ties between HSUHK and HKSTP but also laid a solid foundation for future cross institutional collaboration in innovation and technology.
