The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), HSUHK, joined hands with HKPC SME ReachOut to host a Government FUND Sharing session for student start-ups, bringing practical insights into government funding opportunities and available support.
The session began with a sharing by Ms Yang, Consultant of SME ReachOut, who introduced a range of SME-focused funding programmes and outlined key directions for application, helping teams better understand the support available for different stages of development.
On the second day, CIE continued with a promotional booth and invited two teams from the GBA Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme, funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission, to showcase their projects. The teams introduced their entrepreneurial concepts and shared their progress to date, attracting a steady stream of students who stopped by to ask questions and learn more. Encouragingly, both teams have now started recruiting and are offering internship opportunities.
CIE extends its appreciation to HKPC SME ReachOut for supporting student innovation and entrepreneurship. Through practical sharing and personalised consultation, the participating teams gained a better understanding of available government support and explored new possibilities for their future development.
