From 21 to 22 September 2026, HSUHK hosted the Autumn Careers Fair 2026 under the theme "Gear Up. Link Up.", with more than 50 renowned local, Greater Bay Area and international companies and government departments gathering on campus. The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) ran booths on both days, engaging students in real time and sharing information on entrepreneurship opportunities and support available at HSUHK.
The first day started off with CIE partnering with the Career Planning and Development Section of Student Affairs Office (SAO-CPD) to set up an interactive game booth. Through the games and casual conversations, students learned about CIE's year-round activities and entrepreneurship support services in a lively and welcoming atmosphere. Many students left with a renewed impression that entrepreneurial support is not out of reach—it is right here on campus.
On the second day, CIE continued with a promotional booth and invited two teams from the GBA Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme, funded by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and the Youth Development Commission, to showcase their projects. The teams introduced their entrepreneurial concepts and shared their progress to date, attracting a steady stream of students who stopped by to ask questions and learn more. Encouragingly, both teams have now started recruiting and are offering internship opportunities.
The fair provided CIE with meaningful opportunities to connect directly with students who are exploring their next steps, while offering the participating teams a valuable platform to present their work. CIE extends its sincere thanks to the Career Planning and Development Section of SAO for the collaboration, and to the two programme teams for their commitment and participation. CIE will continue to bring a diverse range of entrepreneurship activities and support, walking alongside students as they discover their own direction.
