In support of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) meetings, the "Spark Your Dreams, Shape Our Future" Asia-Pacific Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Dialogue was held on 20 September 2026 in Nansha, Guangzhou. The Dialogue brought together around 200 representatives from the political, business and academic sectors across Asia-Pacific economies to exchange ideas and explore opportunities for regional collaboration.
Professor Jeanne Fu Ho Ying, Vice-President (Learning and Student Experience) and Director of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK), represented the University at the Dialogue and participated in the launch ceremony of the "Asia-Pacific Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Partnership Programme" (the "Partnership Programme").
The Partnership Programme was jointly initiated by organisations and higher education institutions in the Greater Bay Area, with support from institutions across the Asia-Pacific region, including Laos, Malaysia and Singapore. The Programme aims to connect young entrepreneurs across Asia-Pacific economies and promote regional exchange and collaboration in science, technology and innovation.
HSUHK is honoured to be named a partner institution of the Programme. Looking ahead, the University will continue to support youth innovation and entrepreneurship, deepen regional exchange and collaboration in innovation and technology, and contribute to the development of the Asia-Pacific innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
