On 24 August 2026, the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) set up a booth at HSUHK's New Students Welcome Day, which welcomed over 2,500 incoming first-year and senior-year students under the theme "承恒 — Belong and Beyond".
Our booth was buzzing with energy as we interacted with new students, introducing them to CIE's activities, programmes, and entrepreneurial support services. To make the experience more interactive, we introduced a game called "Unlock Your Innovator Power" in which students answered a set of mindset questions to discover one of four destinations: To Imagine, To Build, To Act, and To Connect. Special thanks to the student helpers who supported us throughout the day. They assisted with setup, managed the booth, and engaged with fellow students.
From start-up competitions and incubation programmes to workshops and networking events, we shared the many ways students can get involved and turn their ideas into reality. It was inspiring to see so many curious and passionate freshmen eager to explore the entrepreneurial journey ahead.
We look forward to an exciting academic year ahead, with more students participating in our activities and embarking on their innovation journey. Wishing all new students a fulfilling and successful university experience!
