Are you interested in knowing more about the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Hong Kong? WUCIE Start-up Association – a student-led platform supported by Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE) – were delighted to announce the visit to the Hong Kong Science Park were successfully held on 1 Feb 2023 (Wed).
Mr Moses MoYung (Manager, Entrepreneurship from HKSTP) and Ms Karen Law (Senior Officer, University Collaborations from HKSTP) explained clearly the Ideation & Incubation Programmes and the career opportunities at HKSTP.
HSUHK alumnus, Mr Brian Lam, who is now employed by a start-up stationed in HKSTP also shared a few words on what he gained through joining the HSUHK x HKSTP Co-Ideation Programme.
During the visit to the Incubation Centre and the Experience Centre, the participants were able to know more about HKSTP’s thriving innovation and technology (I&T) ecosystem of over 900 tech companies.
Hong Kong Science Park is administered by the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), which was established in 2001 for creating a vibrant innovation and technology ecosystem to deliver social and economic benefits to Hong Kong and the region, as well as to build a future abundant with innovation opportunities for the younger generations.
With its incubation and acceleration programmes, HKSTP supported nearly 800 start-ups. There are more than 900 programme graduates including two unicorns — Lalamove and SmartMore.

Transportation Arrangements:
- A coach will be provided for the visit departure from HSUHK. If you would like to take the coach, please gather at 1:30pm at G/F, Block N, Yuen Campus, HSUHK.
- If you would like to go to HKSTP directly, please gather at 2:15pm at Gate Entrance of 17W (1/F, 17W, 17 Science Park West Avenue, Hong Kong Science Park, Pak Shek Kok, Shatin).
- Participants should make their own transportation arrangements after the visit.

- Visits to HKSTP Facilities, including:
- Sportlight and Incubation Centre (7/F, 19W, HKSTP)

HSUHK students will be awarded 2.5 ECA hours or 1 GPS unit by attending the event.
