On behalf of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), we are thrilled to invite you to join the HSUHK Entrepreneurship Day 2025 on 5 June 2025. This university-wide flagship entrepreneurial event is a fantastic occasion for our aspiring young entrepreneurs, alumni, faculty members, potential investors, and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas on entrepreneurship and explore collaboration.
This year, we are very honoured to have Mr Derek Chim (粘清澤先生) – Head of Startup Ecosystem and Development, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) – to give a keynote speech on the topic “Fail Fast, Rise Fast: How Startups Cross the Chasm to Achieve Long-Term Success” (跌宕再起:初創企業如何跨越鴻溝,實現長期成功). Mr Chim possesses rich experience in leading digital transformation and innovation programmes for corporates and driving growth in both traditional enterprises and startups. At HKSTP, he is responsible for leading the largest innovation and technology startup support programme in Hong Kong, dedicated to providing various growth support for aspiring entrepreneurs and founders seeking business expansion.
In addition to Mr Chim’s talk, there will be the pitching of the finalist teams of the HSUHK Entrepreneurship Challenge 2025 – a joint event organised by CIE and the MSc-EM Programme Office this year, as well as the launching ceremony of our new GBA Youth Start-up and Social Innovation Programme. Innovative start-up teams from HSUHK will also be showcased.
