Our Centre successfully hosted an engaging training programme, "Formation of Business Idea" on 24 October 2024. The session was part of the Campus Mixer initiative, powered by Hong Kong Techathon+ 2025 and co-organised with the Pre-Incubation Centre (PI Centre) from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
We were honoured to welcome Mr Ernest Chan, the passionate social entrepreneur and Founder and Commercial Director of AESIR.hk, as our esteemed trainer. Under his leadership, AESIR.hk has won prestigious awards, including a silver medal and the Special Inventor Award at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN) 2018. During the session, Mr Chan shared invaluable insights and practical tips for developing compelling business ideas, inspiring participants to think both creatively and strategically.
Participants gained a deeper understanding of core business concepts—from identifying pain points and stakeholder mapping to the key elements of a successful business model. The event also provided a valuable opportunity to network, exchange innovative start-up ideas, and form teams for the upcoming Hong Kong Techathon+ 2025.
