We had an incredible time at the Hong Kong Techathon+ 2025.  The finale was held from 17 to 19 January 2025! This exciting event was co-organised by HKSTP and prestigious local higher education institutions, including HSUHK, CityU, HKBU, HKMU, LingnanU, CUHK, EdUHK, PolyU, HKUST, HKU, Thei, and IVE.

Techathon+ Finale 2025 has achieved another year of record-breaking accomplishments:

•1,800+ participants

•380+ project teams/ideas

•140 teams competed at the Finale

•40 non-local teams from 14+ universities across 10 regions

A special congratulations to our HSUHK team, Rehab-KG, for achieving well-deserved merit in the local open group competition under the Sustainability and ESG theme. Their innovative business concept is an AI-based rehabilitation support platform that utilizes Knowledge Graph (KG) technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of rehabilitation services. This platform is designed for elderly and underserved individuals, extracting expert insights from medical databases, scholarly journals, and historical patient records to provide personalized rehabilitation recommendations.
