Our Centre hosted an engaging training programme titled “Formation of Business Idea” on 24 October 2024.   This event, part of the Campus Mixer initiative, was powered by HK Techathon+ 2025 and co-organised with the CUHK PI Centre.

We were thrilled to have Mr. Ernest Chan, a passionate social entrepreneur and the Founder and Commercial Director of AESIR.hk, as our esteemed trainer. Under his leadership, AESIR has garnered several prestigious accolades, including a silver medal and the Special Inventor Award at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN) 2018.  During the session, Mr. Chan shared invaluable insights and tips for developing compelling business ideas, inspiring participants to think creatively and strategically.

Most importantly, participants gained a deeper understanding of essential business concepts, including identifying pain points, stakeholder mapping, and key elements of a successful business model. And they had the chance to meet new friends, exchange innovative technical start-up concepts, and form teams to participate in the upcoming HK Techathon+ 2025.
