Guest Speaker Sharing Session –Development of Social Enterprises in Hong Kong – The Case of VESSEL (19 February 2019)

It was delighted that Ms Ruby Yeung, the founder of ALPS, shared her experience about developing a social enterprises, VESSEL on 19 February 2019. This inspired HSUHK students about how to implement the social innovation ideas into the local community by cooperating with different stakeholders.

The Wu Jieh Yee Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (WUCIE) would like to invite you to join the guest speaker sharing session by Ms Ruby Yeung (楊肇珊女士), Founder of HKALPS (藝土民間) which runs VESSEL –  a creative platform situated by the Kwun Tong Promenade for promoting individual discovery and social inclusion from local neighbourhood to cross-sector communities.  The topic of the talk is “Development of Social Enterprise in Hong Kong – The case of VESSEL”. Ms Yeung will share the story of VESSEL and her valuable experience of starting and running the social enterprise HKALPS.

  • Over 20 years working as key management role in construction and interior fitting out industry in Hong Kong, China, Macau and Singapore.
  • Focuses on social innovation and social enterprise in recent years and aims to improve the qualities of local communities through social innovation.
  • Director of Loving Smiles Foundation and Co-Founder of Hong Kong Special Care Dentistry Association
