We had an incredible time at Hong Kong Techathon+ 2024, organised by HKSTP from 26 to 28 January 2024!
The event was co-organised by HKSTP and a consortium of 10 prestigious universities, including CityU, HKBU, HKMU, LingnanU, CUHK, EdUHK, HSUHK, PolyU, HKUST, and HKU.
Techathon+ featured four exciting themes focused on cutting-edge innovation:
- Trusted AI & Data Science (AI, Blockchain)
- Sustainability & ESG (GreenTech, HealthTech, Advanced Materials)
- Digital Economy (ArtTech, EduTech, FinTech)
- Smart Cities (Electronics, Advanced Manufacturing, Autonomous Robotics/Systems)
We are thrilled to announce that HSUHK's very own alumni team, Ricefort, achieved outstanding success! The team earned a Merit Award in the highly competitive Local Open Group under the Sustainability & ESG theme. Their innovative work highlights a profound commitment to building a sustainable future.
