On 2 October 2024, the atmosphere buzzed with enthusiasm during the online information session for the HSUHK x HKSTP Co-Ideation Programme. Students gathered for an online session led by Ms Grace Lai, Senior Manager of University Collaborations at HKSTP, and Dr Thomas Man, Centre Director of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE).
Ms Lai opened with a lively introduction to HKSTP. She elaborated on the robust support offered by the programme, presenting essential details and basic requirements that would guide aspiring entrepreneurs on their start-up journey. The session highlighted exciting features like online training, a vibrant co-working space, and networking opportunities, making it clear that collaboration is at the heart of innovation.
Students learned about the impressive milestone badges—Silver, Gold, and Platinum—recognizing their achievements throughout the year-long programme. Plus, participants could apply for an incredible grant of up to HKD 100K and tap into mentor support from CIE. Taking the opportunity to meet industry founders and entrepreneurs in HKSTP added an extra spark to the event, igniting passion and ambition in all who attended!
