On 1 November 2024, the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) organised an insightful visit for HSUHK students and colleagues to the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC). The delegation had the valuable opportunity to explore a range of cutting-edge facilities, including the AI Applications Hall, the Future FoodTech Lab, the Green Living Laboratory, and the Aqua Research Laboratory.
Participants found the tour to be an enlightening experience, providing a deeper understanding of the important role HKPC plays in fostering local technological advancement and commercial innovation. The visit served as a direct window into future manufacturing trends and the sustainable technologies shaping the industry. Most importantly, it successfully bridged academic concepts with real-world applications, strengthening the connection between classroom learning and the dynamic field of technology and innovation.
